The Dolphins and Sydney Roosters set for battle to sign ex-Parramatta Eels star Semi Radradra

Semi Radradra’s speculated return to rugby league has set off a feeding frenzy with the likes of the Dolphins and Sydney Roosters amongst those chasing him.

The former Parramatta Eels star is set to be the victim of a salary cap squeeze at rugby union side Bristol Bears which could force the winger out and back to league, Fox Sports has reported.

Radradra previously played for the Bordeaux Begles but swapped to the Bears in 2020 before being made captain.

The Fijian flyer was made captain and helped the Bears win their first major trophy in 37 years when they lifted the European Challenge Cup.

Radradra is currently one of the Bears’ two marquee players and as such sits outside the five million pound salary cap, however, he has struggled for form since suffering a knee injury,

With the number of marquee players being reduced to one from next season, Radradra could be headed for the exit in June, according to The Rugby Paper.

The Dolphins are set to be in the driving seat with their rich millions sitting in the bank, but the lure of the likes of Sydney may prove too much.
