This week looks set to be another cracking week in the world of Rugby League.

All domestic competitions are reaching  crucial periods of the season; in the UK we will see which team will lift the League Leaders Shield in the latest instalment of the ‘Battle of the Borough’ and in the Women’s comp it’s semi-finals time as four teams set their sights on the Grand Final. Down under, it’s time for the Preliminary Finals in the men’s comp and the semi-finals get under way in the NRLW.

Here is how you can catch all of the action this week:

Friday 22nd September

Penrith Panthers vs Melbourne Storm- 10:50am Sky Sports Arena

Leigh Leopards vs Wigan Warriors- 8:00pm Sky Sports Arena

Our Rugby League weekend kicks off with a cracking contest in Sydney, as the reigning Premiers Penrith Panthers face the Storm for a place in the Grand Final. In Super League, we visit the Leigh Sports Village where Wigan Warriors will look to secure the League Leaders Shield with a win over neighbours Leigh on the last day of the regular season, so it’s definitely not one to be missed.

Saturday 23rd September

Brisbane Broncos vs New Zealand Warriors-10:50am Sky Sports Arena

York Valkyrie vs Wigan Warriors Women-3:30pm Sky Sports Arena

St Helens Women vs Leeds Rhinos Women- 6:00pm  Sky Sports Arena

There are three games for us to tuck our teeth into on Saturday morning. First we see the Broncos and the Warriors battle it out at Suncorp for a spot in the NRL Grand Final, and then in the UK the Women’s Super League takes centre stage as the semi-finals get under way. First, League Leaders Shield winners York face Wigan, and then it’s a repeat of this year’s Challenge Cup Final as St Helens battle it out against the Rhinos; but which two teams will move onto the Grand Final? You’ll have to tune in on Saturday to find out.

Sunday 24th September

Newcastle Knights v Brisbane Broncos NRLW- 5:05am  Sky Sports Arena

Sydney Roosters v Gold Coast Titans NRLW- 7:15am Sky Sports Arena

Doncaster v North Wales Crusaders- 3:00pm Sportsman YouTube channel

Sheffield Eagles v Bradford Bulls- 6:30pm Viaplay Sports 1

Sunday morning sees us venture down under as the NRLW semi-finals begin. The first game of the morning sees Newcastle Knights take on the Brisbane Broncos, and then the Roosters face the Titans. All four sides have had a great season so far, but who will cement their place in the Grand Final? Turning our eyes back to the UK, the League One Promotion Final is being broadcast on the Sportsman YouTube channel, as Doncaster and North Wales battle it out for a spot in the Championship. Speaking of the Championship, that is where we finish our weekend as Sheffield Eagles face Bradford Bulls on Sunday evening. Both teams are already locked in for the playoffs, but a win would really put a marker down ahead of the knock-out stages.
