How to watch Super League on TV this week with one game on BBC

Super League

Super League returns this week with a full round of fixtures, but the way to watch it on TV is slightly different.

All six games are, once again, available to watch on television, after the historic new deal that was signed ahead of this season.

The first game this week sees Warrington Wolves host Hull KR in a top-of-the-table clash on Thursday night, where both sides will be hoping to end the round in first place following their impressive starts to the season.

On Friday, Castleford look to make it three games without defeat as St Helens travel to Wheldon Road, while Leigh Leopards play Salford Red Devils in a Greater Manchester clash that will be live on BBC Three – the only game on terrestrial television this week.

That game has a slightly later kickoff time of 8.05pm, as has been the case for BBC games this year.

Huddersfield Giants will look to return to winning ways against Wigan Warriors a week prior to both teams taking to the Challenge Cup semi-finals. Their clash will be early on Saturday afternoon before Leeds Rhinos, on their travels to Catalonia, look to continue to shake off some early-season cobwebs against Catalans Dragons, a side that they have already beaten this year.

Finally, on Sunday, London Broncos host Hull FC at Plough Lane in a game that both sides will see as a huge opportunity for two points. London will view it as their best opportunity to get two points yet after having come incredibly close in Round Three when a late Morgan Smith try saw the Black and Whites win 28-24, their sole win to date. Meanwhile, London remains winless which marks this game as a major opportunity for them to get some points on the board.

Here is a comprehensive guide on how to watch every game on TV this week with details of each and every available UK broadcast.
