It has been a busy 24 hours with major stories breaking from Super League and the NRL.

Here is a round-up of everything that has happened…

NRL round-up

Newcastle Herald journalist Barry Toohey believes Newcastle Knights will still sign Luke Brooks from Wests Tigers.

Leigh to sign Gannon

Leigh Centurions are set to sign Jacob Gannon from Warrington Wolves. That’s according to Rugby League Live.

That publication has also revealed that Chris Thorman is set for the Newcastle Thunder job and that Bradford Bulls prop Ant Walker will move to the Widnes Vikings.

Widdop close to sensational move

Former Warrington Wolves halfback Gareth Widdop was ‘close’ to a sensational move, but not to Castleford Tigers as per The Full Eighty Minutes podcast. The Halifax-born playmaker made a career in the NRL but came to Super League with Warrington in 2020. Read more here.
