Super League Referee Appointments: Chris Kendall and Liam Moore take charge of key fixtures

The officiating teams for Round Ten of Super League have been confirmed.

Chris Kendall will return to the middle this week, After missing last week’s fixtures having requested some time away from the game. Kendall is back into the thick of the action and will take charge of one of the weekend’s biggest fixtures.

The weekend’s round of fixtures kicks off with a huge top of the table clash. Wigan Warriors host the Catalans Dragons, and both sides come into the game having suffered defeat last weekend.

Wigan lost 26-10 away at Hull KR, whilst the Dragons were heavily beaten 30-2 by a resurgent Leigh Leopards side.

Jack Smith will referee, while James Vella supports as video referee.

On Friday, there is a triple-header of fixtures. Huddersfield, fresh of their narrow defeat against St Helens, host Salford Red Devils.

This could be a crucial clash in the race for the top six, as Huddersfield sit just two points behind the Red Devils after nine games.

For this one, Tom Grant is the man in the centre, with Chris Kendall as video referee.

At Headingley, the Leeds Rhinos host bottom side, London Broncos, with head coach, Rohan Smith, under increasing pressure following a string of poor performances.

Aaron Moore will referee, and Liam Rush is video referee.

The other Friday evening fixture sees Warrington Wolves host Hull FC, after both sides suffered narrow defeats last weekend. Warrington will be without young star, Leon Hayes, who suffered a serious injury against Salford and faces a prolonged spell on the sidelines.

Liam Moore will take centre stage there, while Marcus Griffiths is video referee.

Hull KR host St Helens on Saturday afternoon in a top of the table clash. The Robins could move level on points with the Saints with victory.

Chris Kendall returns to referee there, with Ben Thaler taking on the video referee duties.

Finally, on Saturday evening, Leigh Leopards, fresh off their second win of the season, take on Castleford Tigers.

James Vella will referee, and the video referee will be Liam Moore.
