London confirm two signings

London Broncos have confirmed the signings of former halfback Jarrod Sammut and NRL winger Abbas Misxi for the 2021 season.

Sammut was part of the side that beat Toronto Wolfpack in the Million Pound Game in 2018. He then departed for Wigan Warriors, and also had a spell at Leigh Centurions.

Speaking of the move, he said:  “I’m buzzing to be back with the Broncos for next season. After achieving what was deemed the impossible it’s hard not to have a special place in my heart for this club.

“The raw feeling and emotions from that season and leading up to that moment of gaining promotion still resonates deep within to this day and leaves me with a feeling I’m constantly chasing.”

Miski is a Lebanon international, and has scored nine tries in nine matches for his country. He has also made six appearances for Manly Sea Eagles, scoring two tries.

He added: “I’m very pleased to have signed with the club, from speaking with coach Danny Ward and seeing the recent signings I know the club is looking to have a successful season and I want to be a part of that.

“I’m eager to get over and meet my teammates and coaches and get stuck into a good pre season before round one. “
