Widnes have re-signed young utility back Lloyd Roby on a deal from 2020.
The 20-year-old has been with the club since he was 14, making his senior debut in 2017.
He has since gone on to make 24 appearances, scoring an impressive 14 tries.
He becomes the Vikings’ third re-signing this week, following on from Macgraff Leuluai and fellow young outside back Owen Buckley.
“Last year was a good season for me on a personal note, I managed to break into Club 20 and I gained some valuable experience playing in the Championship,” he said. “I want to repay the club for their faith in me, from bringing me through the academy system and helping me progress to the first-team.
“Working under Tim Sheens is something I am really excited about, he is one of the best coaches in the world and I’m sure he will get the best out of me and the rest of the lads.”
