As the season gets ready to start up once more, it’s time to dig out some old incredible footage.
It was 2017 when the Super 8s promotion and relegation system came to life. After 23 regular season rounds and six Super 8s fixtures, relegation was guaranteed for one of either Hull KR and Salford as they found themselves in the Million Pound Game.
With less than two minutes left on the clock, KR were leading 18-10 with the Red Devils seemingly destined for the Championship.
