Warrington Wolves boss Daryl Powell finds new halfback following Stefan Ratchford injury

Warrington Wolves boss Daryl Powell has found a new halfback to replace Stefan Ratchford, who is currently out injured.

Powell has confirmed Leon Hayes will start against Salford Red Devils tomorrow with Tom Whitehead making his first team debut as Warrington aim to finish the season on a high following a dismal year in all.

The Wolves currently sit next to the bottom of the Super League table with only Toulouse Olympique below them, with Wakefield Trinity finishing off the season in great form.

Robbie Mulhern will also miss out on what would have been his final game in a Warrington shirt after his departure was confirmed.

Mulhern is widely thought to be signing for Leigh Centurions as Adrian Lam’s men gear up for Super League with the likes of Jack Hughes and Matt Davis also thought to be making the move to the Leigh Sports Village.
