Wakefield Trinity’s Tom Johnstone is a superb player.
Though he was omitted from Shaun Wane’s 30-man England squad, the Wakefield flyer has been in tremendous form in 2022 so far.
And, today’s game against Salford Red Devils was no different.
Johnstone made numerous breaks, scored one superb try and fronted up well in defence.
However, when Salford’s Brodie Croft kicked to the corner for winger Ken Sio to chase, Johnstone went down in agony with his back.
He would score a minute later with a piercing run through the Salford defence, but was still getting a lot of attention from the trainer.
