In a West Yorkshire derby that could be described as must win for both sides, two of the league’s out of form teams do battle.
After turning the corner a few weeks ago and heaving themselves away from the bottom, a run of bad results from Trinity sees them just one point above Leeds in 11th.
As for Huddersfield, their away form has been undermining their strong start to the campaign adding pressure on the fixture. They’ve only amassed three points away this season and with just one point over Easter, they’ve slipped out of the top four and have just a one point lead on seventh place.
Kick-off time and TV channel

Predicted Line-ups
Wakefield Trinity
Willie Poching doesn’t have to make any changes to his side, but after another comprehensive defeat perhaps Poching will want to change things up perhaps bringing the likes of Lee Gaskell back into the fold. Young Lewis Murphy will likely keep his spot on the wing after picking up a try at Craven Park last week.

Huddersfield Giants
The Giants spine has once again been rocked. They’ve lost fullback Tui Lolohea and Jack Cogger to suspension but fortunately have Theo Fages back to return in the halves. The in form Ashton Golding will move to fullback meanwhile. There’s another loss to suspension in the shape of Chris Hill but fortunately the Giants have two props back in Matty English and Owen Trout.
