Below is a round-up of all the latest transfer news from the world of rugby league over the last 24 hours.

St Helens sign Roby replacement

St Helens have today announced the signing of Daryl Clark from Warrington Wolves from the start of next season. Speaking to the clubs media ahead of his move to the Totally Wicked Stadium, Clark said: “I’m very excited! I’ve been at Warrington for a long time so I’m looking forward to a new challenge and a fresh start.” During his time at Warrington, Clark has won the Challenge Cup, League Leaders’ Shield and was also named Man of Steel.

Wigan Warriors win race for British prop

Wigan Warriors have announced the signing of Tyler Dupree from Salford Red Devils with immediate effect. The prop was heavily linked with a move to Hull KR, however the Cherry and Whites have tempted him over to the DW on a four-year-deal.  On signing for the Warriors, Dupree added: “I’m absolutely made up to join Wigan, it’s a great club with great history and great ambition to go forward for the future. I’m really excited for times ahead.” As part of the deal, Brad Singleton has gone the other way and joins Salford, also with immediate effect.

Ins and outs at Castleford

It’s been a busy week at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on the recruitment front. The club have announced four new signings, in the shape of Alex Foster, Billy Tsikrikas, Liam Horne and most recently Charbel Tasipale. However, these took the club over their allotted seven quota players, which meant some of the clubs imports needed to be moved on. In light of this, the club announced the departures of Mahe Fonua and Burreta Faraimo with immediate effect.

Michael McIlorum agrees new deal

Catalans Dragons star Michael McIlorum has signed a new one-year deal with the French club. The former Wigan Warriors player joined the Dragons in 2018, and helped the side win that year’s Challenge Cup. He will also join the clubs reserves and junior technical staff from next season. Speaking on his new deal, McIlorum said: “Thank you to the players, the staff, Bernard and the fans for your continued support! In the end, it was an easy decision to stay for another season.”

NRL chase $1 million Super League man

Sio Siua Taukeiaho only joined Catalans Dragons at the start of this season but it already seems that the big prop could be headed back down under with Canterbury Bulldogs keen on him. That’s per reports from the Daily Telegraph who also claim the deal would be worth a whopping $500,000 a year over two seasons.

Saints’ stars transfer fee revealed

Joey Lussick played his last game for St Helens at the weekend, sadly for him and their fans it ended in defeat. He now heads down under with immediate effect, moving to Parramatta Eels where he will deputise for former England international Josh Hodgson who it is speculated could retire. It’s now been confirmed by the Daily Telegraph what fee St Helens received for Lussick, with Saints having already recruited Moses Mbye with immediate effect and Daryl Clark for 2024.
