There are still a number of high profile players still looking for clubs ahead of the 2023 season.
With a number of Super League, and of course Championship, clubs still very active in the transfer market, there are plenty of clubs who could be vying for their signatures.
So, here’s three potential destinations for former Castleford Tigers fullback Ryan Hampshire.
Wakefield Trinity
Ryan Hampshire is no stranger to returning to a former club as he did when he returned to the Castleford Tigers this season. So, a return to Belle Vue is not out the question especially with the club having a new coach. With a move for Jamie Shaul, which at one stage looked likely, is certainly less likely now. So, in order to add depth to the squad in key positions.
St Helens
With the Saints still looking for a domestic signing to take number 25 and cover the outside back roles, their main target is certainly Tee Ritson but if that was to not come off, perhaps a move for Ryan Hampshire would be a smart move.
Hull KR
If Hull KR learnt anything from 2022, it’s that injuries can make things really tough on a squad and end their play-off hopes. So, having a player like Ryan Hampshire capable of playing of a number of key positions is the ideal signing to add depth and cover to their squad.
