If you’re going to win the Super League title, you need a star man who can score and create tries.

Remarkably, some players in Super League weren’t far off 50 try involvements in 2022.

So, here’s the five attacking players in Super League based on try involvements.

5. Tui Lolohea – 5 Tries + 29 Assists = 34 Try Involvements
The Huddersfield Giants fullback registered the second most try assists in Super League. He made a huge 29 tries for his teammate as well as scoring five tries taking his total try involvements to 34.

4. Jake Connor – 4 Tries + 33 Assists = 37 Try Involvements
In 2023, he will be joined by former Hull FC star Jake Connor who made more assists than anyone in Super League last year with 33 assists. Alongside his four tries, he had 37 try involvements last year.

3. Jack Welsby – 12 Tries + 27 Assists = 39 Try Involvements
An impressive tally of 12 tries is good enough for some players, but he also created 27 tries for his teammates playing both stand-off and fullback. This took his total to an impressive 39.

2. Jai Field – 20 Tries + 24 Assists = 44 Try Involvements
No player was able to both score 20 tries and register 20 assists other than Wigan fullback Jai Field. He scored 20 tries and created a further 24 taking his tally to 44.

1. Bevan French – 31 tries + 16 Assists = 47 Try Involvements
An amazing tally of 31 tries last season averaging 1.55 tries per game. In his 20 appearances, he also created 16 further tries with a total of 47 try involvements with an average of 2.35 try involvements per game last year.
