Tonga and Samoa have named their teams for their World Cup quarter-final.
Taking place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington, the winners will face England in the semis at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium next Saturday.
Kristian Woolf’s Tonga team includes familiar Super League faces, including St Helens’ Will Hopoate at fullback, Huddersfield Giants’ Tui Lolohea in the halves and former Warrington Wolves forward Ben Murdoch-Masila on the bench.
Woolf’s team also includes a number of other NRL superstars including Jason Taumalolo at loose forward who returned from suspension to be names man of the match in the final group stage win over the Cook Islands.
Samoa coach Matt Parish also names a star-studded team that includes Hull Fc forward Ligi Sao and recently departed Huddersfield Giants hooker, Danny Levi.
Parish’s team is also full of stars from Australia’s premier competition, including numerous players that featured in the recent NRL Grand Final between Penrith Panthers and Parramatta Eels.
