Super League launch cardboard cut-out crowd initiative

Super League will launch a new ‘Fan from Home’ initiative that allows fans to pay to attend live games – in cardboard cut-out form.

The scheme has been used by numerous football clubs in the UK in the past couple of months and has gone down a hit with fans, with newly-promoted Premier League club Leeds United rolling out 15,000 ‘crowdies’ at their Elland Road stadium.

Ahead of the Super League restart on August 2, fans will now be able to purchase a ‘Fan in the Stand’ for £25 and upload a photo of themselves supporting their chosen club, before it is placed in stadiums for the behind closed doors fixtures throughout August.

The cardboard cut-outs have been spread evenly across Super League, with each team being allocated 272 each, and sales profits will go directly to the clubs.

You can purchase your ‘Fan from Home’ cut-out by clicking HERE.
