Super League star set to defy injury odds and return before the end of the season

Jack Walker was initially ruled out for the season with a foot injury, but now Leeds boss Richard Agar says that might not be the case.

The Leeds fullback has been impressing with his rehab and could feature before the end of the season, Agar confirmed.

“I hope he’s back in six weeks, he will be a really welcome addition,” Agar said.

“If we see him this season it will be a real testament to his rehab.

“There are some improvements he’s made to his body – he’s used his time wisely to stick a little bit on himself upstairs, but he’s a determined young bloke.”

Agar said the recovery is even more impressive considering how difficult an injury it is to come back from.

“Rehab can be a real lonely place when you’re watching your teammates out there on the pitch.

“We felt he could have done more rehab-wise at the start of the year, but his braveness and tenacity are unquestionable.”
