Super League Round Seven Predictions: Huge shock result and three classic games

Round Seven of Super League is nearly upon us.

It should be another brilliant weekend of rugby but who will be the winners and losers?

Here’s our predictions:

Leigh Leopards 20-18 Wigan Warriors
In 2021 we saw a struggling Leigh side always bring their A game against Wigan Warriors and they will bring it again today but with their new star power this could be enough to see them stun the Warriors who have been up and down to start the season.

Hull KR 22-20 Leeds Rhinos
This should be another close game between two sides who won last week and will believe they are genuine play-off contenders. In the end home advantage could see the Robins edge it.

St Helens 30-6 Wakefield Trinity
A tough task for Wakefield Trinity this week as the winless Wakefield head to the Champions St Helens. Trinity will try their all but Saints have been gradually getting better and should edge it.

Warrington Wolves 36-18 Hull FC
Hull FC come into this game on the back of four consecutive defeats and against the unbeaten Warrington Wolves who are in red hot form especially in attack could be too much for Tony Smith’s side as he returns to one of his former clubs.

Catalans Dragons 32-12 Castleford Tigers
This could be the worst possible tine for the Tigers to go to Perpignan. The Dragons lost last week and therefore we could see them lash out this week back at home. The Tigers come into the game on the back of a difficult defeat to Warrington Wolves and with some major injury concerns.

Salford Red Devils 16-20 Huddersfield Giants
This is a game Huddersfield Giants have to win. They have shown good signs but have lost their last two. This will be a clash of styles against a side who beat them comfortably twice at the end of last season. However, the injuries in the Salford camp could sway the game the way of the Giants.
