Super League Attendances: Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors and Hull FC impress

Well, that’s another weekend of Super League action done and dusted and what a weekend it was!

First, Leeds Rhinos absolutely flattened the Wigan Warriors on Thursday night in a 42-12 demolition which took almost everyone by surprise before Castleford Tigers smashed Hull FC in a 46-18 drubbing.

The second game on Friday night saw Warrington Wolves once more lost under Daryl Powell as the Cheshire club went down 30-22 to Hull KR at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

There was jubilation in the stands at the Stade Gilbert Brutus as Catalans Dragons managed a 13-12 win over Huddersfield Giants courtesy of a last minute drop goal from Sam Tomkins on Saturday afternoon, whilst Salford Red Devils kept up their remarkable run of form with a hard-fought 24-11 victory away at Toulouse Olympique.

Only one game was scheduled for Sunday with St Helens expected to go to Wakefield Trinity and win handsomely. However, the West Yorkshire side had other ideas and pushed the reigning champions all the way as Saints had to rely on Jack Welsby to slot over the winning drop goal in golden point.
