St Helens and Warrington Wolves reveal unique Magic Weekend shirts

The Magic Weekend is a concept that is now deeply entrenched in a rugby league fan’s psyche.

Thousands of supporters from different clubs congregate at Newcastle United’s St James’ Park for a weekend of rugby league action.

And, clubs have since responded with releasing their own shirts for the occasion, with St Helens and Warrington Wolves leading the way.

For Saints, the main colourway and theme of the ‘Ice Cold’ range of Trainingwear has been incorporated into the design including a traditional ‘mid-depth’ mint green ‘Vee’ and green sleeves and shoulders.

Secondly, the Club’s continued association with Autism support sees the universally recognised symbol of the puzzle piece, outlined in green, in various sizes, built into the shirt’s white body.

The shirt also features the St Helens Autism Support logo, which continues the long standing relationship between the local charity and the Club based around the Magic Weekend.

Meanwhile, Warrington have gone for an environmentally-friendly shirt, with every purchase one tree will get planted whilst its material is made from 70% recyclable material.
