Sensational Super League player-swap on the cards

Huddersfield Giants and Leigh Centurions are set to partake in a four-player swap deal, Yorkshire Live has reported.

The players involved are reported to be Leigh’s Nathan Peats and Nathaniel Peteru and Huddersfield’s James Cunningham and Jack Ashworth.

The move will free up two quota spots for Leigh, whilst Huddersfield have two spots left open after dispensation has been granted for the injury to Aidan Sezer.

Peats has played nine games for Leigh and Peteru just eight, with the duo only moving to the Leigh Sports Village ahead of the 2021 season.

Cunningham and Ashworth, meanwhile have played 13 games for Huddersfield between them.
