Salford Red Devils vs Catalans Dragons: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Just days after a derby with Warrington, Salford are forced to host 2021 Grand Finalists Catalans Dragons at the AJ Bell.

Salford have dropped to 10th following defeats to Wakefield and Warrington. In both games, the Red Devils started slowly so will need a better start here or they could face another loss.

The Dragons haven’t been at their best in recent weeks but got a much needed win against French rivals Toulouse on Thursday. They will be looking to build on that here.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 15:00.

There is no TV coverage but the highlights will be available on Super League’s YouTube Channel.

Predicted Line-ups:

Salford Red Devils
Salford will have changes mostly in the backs with Tim Lafai and Joe Burgess unavailable. Fortunately, three-time Super League Champion Kallum Watkins is back after long term injury and will come in at centre with either Rhys Williams or Morgan Escare on the wing. Escare has spent most of the season away on loan with Wakefield and Barrow.

Catalans Dragons
The Dragons have Gil Dudson back to strengthen their pack. He’ll ameliorate the loss of Mike McMeeken as will Joe Chan’s availability despite his two-match ban with the suspension not taking effect until after the Easter period. It’ll be interesting to see whether Tyrone May remains at fullback or if Arthur Mourgue will take over there.
