Experienced Salford forwards Lee Mossop and Mark Flanagan have been cleared to play in Saturday’s Challenge Cup Final after returning negative Covid-19 tests.
The pair returned inconclusive tests earlier this week and were stood down to self-isolate, forcing them to miss the Red Devils’ clash with Hull KR on Tuesday.
More recent tests have now come back negative, however, meaning both players can return to training and will be available for selection at Wembley this weekend.
It was also revealed earlier this week that two other unnamed Salford players has tested positive for coronavirus, and they will continue to self-isolate.
