However, to keep those dreams alive, they must defeat Catalans Dragons on Saturday away from home as they did in 2022 twice.
They also need both Warrington Wolves and Salford Red Devils to lose as they take on St Helens and Hull KR.
Going into the game, Rohan Smith revealed that they still aren’t able to bring back anyone from injury in disappointing news for Leeds.
He also revealed consultations for James Bentley and Aidan Sezer after head knocks.
The Rhinos are forced to make one change with Sam Walters ruled out with a one game suspension following last week’s defeat at home to Wigan Warriors.
The Rhinos are still without Aidan Sezer and James Bentley as they follow the return to play protocols following concussion whilst Richie Myler, Justin Sangare and Luis Roberts are ruled out through injury. Nene Macdonald is still unavailable for selection.
Young front rower Tom Nicholson-Watton has been named in the 21 man squad for the first time this season. The Reserves regular played with the first team in pre-season and has trained with the first team squad all season. He has most recently been on loan with Keighley Cougars in the Championship.
