Referee revealed for Super League Grand Final

The referee for the Super League Grand Final has been revealed for Saturday’s clash between St Helens and Leeds Rhinos.

That referee will be Liam Moore.

It will be the 27-year-old’s second consecutive Old Trafford appearance, after he took charge of his first Grand Final last October.

Moore also refereed consecutive Challenge Cup Finals at Wembley in 2020 and 2021, becoming the youngest ever Challenge Cup Final referee when he was appointed for the behind-closed-doors Final between Leeds Rhinos and Salford Red Devils.

“It’s always an honour to be appointed for such a prestigious fixture,” he said.

Ben Thaler will be the video referee, with Jack Smith and Warren Turley the touch-judges, Chris Kendall the reserve referee, and Dean Bowmer the reserve touch judge.

Peter Taberner will be the Match Commissioner, and Dave Milburn the timekeeper.
