Rangi Chase signs for Cutsyke Raiders

It was announced on April fools day, but Rangi Chase has in fact signed for amateur side Cutsyke Raiders.

The former England international is currently serving the last three months of a two-year drugs ban but he will return to feature for the amateur side.

Chase, 32, will use his time with the Raiders to gain match fitness in the hopes of landing a Super League or Championship contract to reignite his career.

Cutsyke are coached by Huddersfield half-back Tom Holmes and it is expected that Chase will make his debut in early July for the Yorkshire Premier Division outfit.
