Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price says he is expecting a different game from Leigh Centurions on Friday.
The pair have already met in pre-season with Warrington coming out 34-12 winners at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. The game also served as Chris Hill’s testimonial.
Despite the comfortable nature of that victory, Price says ultimately, pre-season is different to an actual competition, and that will reflect in the performance.
He said: “They’ll be a different team. Friendlies are different to competition matches and there is a lot more at stake this weekend.
“It is more about our own performance. We cant wait to get back out there on Friday- we want to get back to what we outlined in pre-season.
“We know there is a football team there, that is what hurts. That was not us last week.”
