Paul Anderson names England Knights team for tonight’s game including Leeds Rhinos, Warrington Wolves and Huddersfield Giants starlets

Paul Anderson has named his side for tonight’s international between England Knights and France B.

Anderson, a former Huddersfield Giants boss who guided the club to their one and only League Leaders’ Sheild, has included four Giants in his starting 13 and a fifth on the bench.

Will Pryce, who has worn the number one shirt all season for the Giants but rarely played fullback with Tui Lolohea cemented there, is named at fullback whilst Jake Wardle is named at centre.

Wardle played for England against the Combined Nations earlier this year and spent the latter half of the year on loan at Warrington but is set to be a Huddersfield player in 2023.

Giants halfback Olly Russell is named in the halves alongside the electric Mikey Lewis of Hull KR whilst Owen Trout concludes the Huddersfield quartet in the starting line-up and is joined by fellow Giants forward in the 17 Matty English. English starts on the bench alongside Salford’s Tyler Dupree, Warrington’s Ellis Longstaff after a loan spell with Hull FC and Hull KR’s Jez Litten.

Litten misses out on the starting nine spot to Warrington’s Danny Walker who is joined by Wolves teammates Josh Thewlis on the wing and Matty Nicholson at loose-forward.

The outside backs are completed by Leeds Rhinos’ Liam Tindall and Salford’s Deon Cross whilst Wigan’s Ethan Havard, Catalans’ Matt Whitley and Hull FC’s Jordan Lane complete the pack.

As for France B, Barrow’s Hakim Miloudi starts at fullback whilst departing Catalans forwards Mathieu Cozza and Corentin Le Cam are named in the side as well.
