New signings and left out stars feature for reserves

Another day of reserves action took place yesterday as a number of Super League stars featured.

With new signings Tee Ritson and Wesley Bruines in the side alongside plenty of young Saints who have had experience in Super League, the Saints ran out 50-20 winners over Wakefield Trinity.

Robbie Butterworth featured for Trinity after playing against Hull KR meanwhile another promising youngster in the shape of Oliver Pratt featured at centre with Tom Lineham on the wing.

Willie Poching’s son Kobe started at six.

Hull FC’s reserves continue to score plenty of points as they defeated Warrington Wolves.

The recently dropped Darnell McIntosh started at fullback with Connor Wynne and Mitieli Vulikijapani at centre.

As the Black and Whites won 60-10 hooker Denive Balmforth who features in the 2022 Super League season, started at seven.

Warrington had Jake Thewlis and Leon Hayes featured.

Huddersfield Giants meanwhile stormed to a huge win over London Broncos.

Impressive young halfback Kieran Rush started at nine with former Wigan Warriors prop Jack Bibby in the front row. Betfred League One Young Player of the Year George Roby featured at nine.

They won 76-4 over the Broncos.

Leeds Rhinos’ clash with Hull KR was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch after the rain on Friday night.
