Loan signing set to face parent club as Hull KR travel to face Castleford Tigers

In the final week of Super League before the mid-season international game, in-form Hull KR travel to the Jungle to take on Castleford Tigers.

The Robins are looking for their fifth win in a row and a win that would round out their opening ten games with an incredible seven wins, including over St Helens and Wigan.

Meanwhile Castleford are looking for their third win of the season and the third of Andy Last’s tenure, with Lee Radford having been disposed of after round three’s loss.

Last has certainly seen an upturn in performances although the results haven’t always been forthcoming, whereas Rovers have seen both with solid performances backing up impressive wins.

For their Friday night clash Hull KR have named their 21-man squad and it features Yusuf Aydin who they’ve recalled from his loan spell with Featherstone Rovers.

Jesse Sue still misses out due to suspension but James Batchelor returns from his suspension.

Corey Hall features once again having impressed against St Helens.

Frankie Halton is a surprise omission from the side and it’s unclear if it’s enforced.

As for the hosts, Andy Last has named his 21-man squad and it features one huge change with Gareth Widdop missing out and the experience of Liam Watts replacing him.

George Lawler faces his former team, as does Greg Eden, whereas new signings for Castleford Luis Johnson and Will Tate both feature.

Willie Peters had spoken earlier in the week to confirm that Rovers wouldn’t prevent loanee Johnson from playing against them as his parent club.
