Leeds 2/1 to beat Castleford

A big game for both sides on Friday night rugby as Leeds travel to Castleford , the Rhinos will be looking for  a 2nd win in 5 days after an impressive win over Catalans last weekend .The Tigers also got back to winning ways with a comfortable victory over London .

Both sides have won 3 of their last 6 but Leeds are still joint bottom of the table and will be desperate for the win that will help them pull away from the bottom . Super League sponsors Betfred make the Rhinos 2/1 for a win here with the hosts around 4/9 . Although I expect Leeds to improve after a trio  of morale boosting signings , getting Robert Lui now was great business , I think they may come unstuck at the Jungle . They have a poor recent record here , it’s a big game for the Cas fans and the ground will be jumping . This usually lifts the Tigers players and I think they can cement their place in the top 4 with a win by around 2 scores . The signings of Rhyse Martin , Lui and Shaun Lunt should be enough to keep the 2017 Champions up but they may have to wait a week for another win .

Cas have to concede a 6 point start on the handicap but I think they can cover this , it’s 1-1 between the sides after 2 meetings at Headingley in 2019 so it’s all to play for here . Leeds have taken some heavy defeats at the Jungle in recent years .

Mcshane heads man of the match betting at 7/1 in a wide open market but Cory Aston at 12/1 would be my pick . As for the Rhinos I’d just favour Lui at 9/1 ahead of Myler at 10/1 .
