Lee Jewitt’s career started at Wigan Warriors back in 2005.
He made two appearances for the Warriors before joining Salford Red Devils where he made 105 appearances of the course of six years scoring six tries during his time with the club.
He then had a brief stint in France with Limoux prior to joining Castleford Tigers.
Whilst with the Tigers they got all the way to Wembley with Jewitt featuring in the capital against Leeds Rhinos.
His next Super League adventure came at Hull KR which concluded in 2019.
He also spent time playing in the Queensland Cup in Australia.
Now though he is going back to where it all began: Waterhead.
The Waterhead Warriors announced his signing on social media today with the following statement:
“We are delighted to announce former Wigan and Castleford forward Lee Jewitt has joined us for the forthcoming NCL season it will be great to welcome Lee back to where it all began as he returns to his former community club.”
Jewitt himself said:
“One last dance with the club that I grew up at. Waterhead ARLFC started my career, and now I will finish it here. Better dust the boots off and get ready to go.
“One more season.”
