Willie Isa is ready to sign a new deal at Wigan, head coach Adrian Lam has confirmed.
The 32-year-old is out of contract at the end of 2021, but Wigan Today has revealed that Isa is ready to sign on the dotted line.
“I think they’re well down the track with that.
“Before his suspension he was probably our best player, he’s a great leader, and we’re a better team with him in there.”
Veteran Wiganer Sam Powell and three-quarter Jake Bibby have also taken out options on their deals to extend their stay at the DW Stadium, Wigan Today confirmed.
