International forward leaves Hull KR

Hull KR have confirmed the departure of back rower Danny Addy.

The 28-year-old Scotland international has spent the past three seasons at the Robins after signing from Bradford and has gone on to make 41 appearances, scoring 11 tries.

An ACL injury ended his second season prematurely, however he made a full comeback and played a key part in KR’s fight for Super League survival in 2019.

Danny Addy will leave Hull KR after three years with the club.

“I’d like to thank Danny for his contributions in the Hull KR jersey, said Rovers boss Tony Smith. He overcame a serious injury midway through his career here and recovered to play a big part in helping the club maintain their Super League position ahead of the 2020 campaign.

“’Everybody at the club would like to wish Danny all the best in the future.”

Addy has been linked with a move to the Championship, with Featherstone and Leigh among the rumoured destinations.
