Darnell McIntosh injured his Achilles in Huddersfield’s 17-10 loss to Hull FC on Friday night and could be set for a long spell on the sidelines.
The flying winger’s evening ended when the 23-year-old went down in the build-up to Mahe Fonua’s try.
McIntosh received treatment, but ended up finishing the game on the sidelines on crutches.
The Huddersfield-born winger/fullback has made almost 100 appearances since bursting onto the scene with the Giants in 2016.
