Hull KR lose star to Huddersfield Giants despite joining on a two-year deal from 2023

Hull KR have confirmed that new loan signing Louis Senior has been recalled by Huddersfield Giants with immediate effect following a number of injuries at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Senior will rejoin KR for pre-season in late 2022 to begin his two-year deal with the Robins following the end of his contract with the West Yorkshire side.

Hull KR go up against Warrington on Friday night at the Halliwell Jones Stadium as the Wolves are hoping to alleviate some of the pressure around the Cheshire club.

Warrington went down 35-22 to the Castleford Tigers last weekend in a dismal performance that saw the Wolves down 27-0 at one point during the game.

Meanwhile, Hull KR were able to get the better of West Yorkshire opponents Wakefield Trinity who just fell short, 15-10 at Craven Park.

Hull KR look set to be without big names such as Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Dean Hadley. Ryan Hall managed to come through unscathed against Wakefield, but Frankie Halton, Albert Vete and Matty Storton remain sidelined.
