Hull KR announce departure of Anesu Mudoti ahead of move

Anesu Mudoti has left Hull KR ahead of a move to a League 1 side.

The forward has been at Craven Park for two seasons after being identified by head coach Tony Smith as a potential star of the future.

Unfortunately, injuries have stunted Mudoti’s progress with a dislocated wrist and hamstring injury restricting any kind of first-team appearance, with the forward joining Doncaster on a season-long loan.

Injuries again hampered his time in South Yorkshire, with just ten appearances under his belt.

Unlike the rest of the conglomerate that arrived from the Bradford Bulls two years ago – which included the likes of Rowan Milnes and Matty Storton – Mudoti has not been able to nail down a first-team spot.

Hull KR, meanwhile, have stepped up their preparations ahead of the new season with new signings Lachlan Coote, Sam Wood and Tom Garratt just some of the new faces through the door taking part in pre-season this week.
