Yes, all eyes may be on the Rugby League World Cup at this present moment, however, for Super League clubs preparations are on going for the 2023 season and dethroning Champions St Helens.
10 clubs are preparing for pre-season whilst Hull KR and Wakefield Trinity have already started theirs.
Preparations aren’t just about the training field, the likes of Wakefield, Warrington Wolves, Catalans Dragons, Leeds Rhinos and even the likes of St Helens, Salford Red Devils and Leigh Leopards are all active in the transfer market.
Elsewhere off the field there is the launch of new shirts and season tickets which are vital to clubs’ sustainability off the field.
Two clubs have reached fantastic milestones in these departments recently as they gear up towards a big 2023.
Firstly, Hull KR revealed today that the club has enjoyed record breaking shirt sales after the launch of their sleek and modern new home shirt as well as they Queensland inspire alternate kits for 2023.
The club has never had such a profitable October of sales even though it is traditionally around October that clubs reveal their new shirts.

Elsewhere, Castleford Tigers have revealed that a huge 2000 fans have already purchased season tickets for 2023 as the Tigers look to return to the play-offs.

That milestone has been achieved only a month after their launch suggesting that the number of members at Castleford will only grow.
