Hull FC facing tough fight against Toulouse Olympique in Super League clash

Hull FC took on Toulouse Olympique in the south of France tonight, hoping to get back on the horse following a dismal 46-18 loss to the Castleford Tigers last weekend.

It was the French side that were the quickest out of the blocks with James Cunningham making the most of a Josh Simm error to pounce on six minutes.

Credit to the Black and Whites, however, they came storming back and it was Simm who atoned for that earlier mistake with a four-pointer after yet another assist from maverick Jake Connor. Luke Gale converted to level the scores at 6-6.

Ellis Longstaff added another try, but the French side thought they had scored before the break only for the pass to be brought back for being forward as Hull lead 10-6 at the break.
