Hull FC, Huddersfield Giants and Salford Red Devils men to feature in must win game against Italy

Both Fiji and Italy have named their squads for their must win game in Group A of the World Cup.

Both will be pushing for a place in the quarter-finals with Italy in pole position after a 28-4 win over Scotland whilst Fiji have made the semi-finals in the last three World Cups and are hoping to do so again but will need to win here to give themselves hope of doing so.

They have named three Super League stars as they look to do so including three-time Super League Champion and Harry Sunderland Award winner Kevin Naiqama who is headed to Huddersfield in 2023.

He’ll be joined out wide by Hull FC back Mitieli Vulikijapani who wears the number five shirt whilst King Vuniyayawa, formerly of the Leeds Rhinos and New Zealand Warriors, will feature after a solid season for Salford Red Devils.

They’ll be up against some NRL talent in the shape of Nathan Brown of Parramatta Eels who won the Man of the Match against Scotland in Newcastle’s Kingston Park.

That was despite the fact teammate Jake Maizen scored a superb hat-trick and he is also set to try and add to his tally in this game up against the Fijians.
