Huddersfield Giants will be hunting for their third win of the season as they take on the Salford Red Devils at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Giants have won two of their opening three games, with impressive wins over Toulouse Olympique and Hull KR followed by a close loss against Wigan Warriors.

Salford Red Devils, meanwhile, also have two wins from their first three fixtures, with wins over Castleford Tigers and Toulouse Olympique being somewhat overshadowed by a thrashing by Hull FC last weekend.

Injury news

Huddersfield welcome back Ashton Golding, but Jake Wardle still remains out for Ian Watson. Theo Fages has returned from suspension for the Giants, but Danny Levi still has one more game to sit out. Salford will be without Dan Sarginson, who has been ruled out for about three months following a broken shoulder, with Deon Cross likely to take his place.
