Holders Leeds drawn against Super League champions St Helens in Challenge Cup third round

Holders Leeds Rhinos have been drawn against Super League champions St Helens in a mouthwatering third round Challenge Cup clash.

The Betfred Challenge Cup third round draw took place at Warrington’s Victoria Park on Monday morning, as the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Oliver Dowden, joined the BBC’s Dave Woods to conduct the draw.

The four Championship sides that progressed from the weekend’s games were thrown into the hat alongside the 12 Super League teams.
