Wigan Warriors forward Joe Greenwood has said he wants to fight for his place at the club after returning.
The second-rower is back at the club, after his loan spell at Leeds Rhinos was cut short because of the coronavirus pandemic.
He said: “I like the place. There are a lot of contended positions at Wigan, so it’s all up to them really.
“I’ll be there fighting for my place, for whatever club I am at, which is Wigan at the moment. Hopefully I can stay there with the lads. I’ll just see what happens with that.
“When we return, I will be there fighting for my spot.
“But if a loan move comes up, to get more game time than Wigan, like I did last time and I want to keep match fit.
“If it comes up, then I would be willing to negotiate that. Just to keep match fit, because I want to be playing.
“You only have a short career, so you want to be playing as much as you can.”
