St Helens’ Grand Final winner Regan Grace has told reporters in Australia that he’d like to link up with former boss Justin Holbrook at Gold Goast Titans in the future.
The 22-year-old is gearing up to represent Wales at the World Cup 9s at the weekend, fresh from winning his first Super League title last weekend.
The Grand Final was also Holbrook’s final Super League game, as he moves back to Australia in the off-season to coach the struggling Titans.
When questioned on a potential move to the NRL in the future, Grace made it clear who he’d preferably ink up with and why.
“The Gold Coast, so I can go see my old coach Justin Holbrook,” he said.
“I have a best mate who lives up on the Gold Coast as well, so it would be good to catch up with him.
“I’d love to be able to get to that standard and test myself out here.”
