George Williams commits to Warrington deal for fan

George Williams is set to give one young Warrington fan a season to remember by giving him a membership fully funded by the halfback.

Kai, a special guest in the Wolves’ membership promotional video, is clearly a huge Warrington fan with a Wolves kit, Warrington bag and a flag in his room.

It’s a classic promo video by the Cheshire club and now Williams has extended that class with the offer for a full season paid solely by the Warrington star.

It’s a completely new era for the Wolves next season as former Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell takes over at the Halliwell Jones after four years of Steve Price at the helm.

Powell himself had been at the Jungle eight-and-a-half years before he decided for a change following a stagnant run of form with the Tigers.

New signings Joe Bullock, Greg Minikin and Peter Mata’utia have already come through the door ahead of the 2022 season.
