Featherstone Rovers welcome new signing for Super League promotion push

Featherstone Rovers have welcomed a new signing to the Millennium Stadium as the race for promotion to Super League heats up.

Featherstone and Leigh Centurions have been involved in a ‘signing race’ with a whole host of stars making their way across the world to help their respective sides try and make the promised land.

Now, Johnathon Ford has landed in Featherstone to help the West Yorkshire club in their bid.

It remains to be seen if any other Championship teams can catch Featherstone and Leigh who, incidentally, will play each other for the honour of lifting the 1895 AB Sundecks Cup at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a fortnight’s time.
