Every rugby league match you can watch live on TV this week

A through the camera perspective of the AJ Bell Stadium

After we were served up a buffet of Super League and NRL action last week, more top drawer rugby league matches head our way this week with the Challenge Cup taking centre stage.

All four quarter-finals are set to be broadcast live along with the best action from down under in what should be a fantastic weekend of rugby league.

So, here’s every game you can watch live this weekend.

Friday

New Zealand Warriors vs North Queensland Cowboys – Sky Sports Arena 09:00
Two teams who have endured up and down starts to 2022 collide on Friday morning as the Warriors take on the Cowboys. After an encouraging win over rivals Brisbane, North Queensland crashed down to earth last week against Sydney and the Warriors will be looking to capitalise on that.

Hull KR vs Castleford Tigers – Premier Sports 1 19:15
Last year these two served up a cracking cup tie which went to golden point. With a place in the last four up for grabs this weekend we should expect an equally good game between two offensive sides in a repeat of the 1986 cup final.

Saturday

Catalans Dragons vs St Helens – BBC One 14:00
Speaking of cup final rematches, Catalans and St Helens collide in a repeat of the first ever cup final held at the new Wembley and a repeat of last year’s Super League Grand Final in the biggest quarter-final we could have asked for. Set to be a great game between arguably the league’s best two teams, who will make it to the semi-finals?

Huddersfield Giants vs Hull FC – Premier Sports 1 16:30
In an equally intriguing tie, two teams who have enjoyed superb starts to 2022 butt heads with their hearts set on a semi-final appearance at Elland Road. Huddersfield underlined their potential as they downed Catalans last week as Brett Hodgson’s side continue to impress looking like a top four candidate in 2022. This should be a superb battle.

Sunday

Cronulla Sharks vs Wests Tigers – Sky Sports Arena 07:00
Two teams who have endured differing starts to the 2022 season meet in the NRL on Sunday. With four wins in a row, the Sharks look like genuine title contenders whilst the Tigers struggle to get even one win to their name.

Canterbury Bulldogs vs Penrith Panthers – Sky Sports Arena 09:10
Speaking of teams with differing fortunes, Penrith meet Canterbury on Sunday and the reigning Premiers are the only unbeaten side left in the comp whereas the Bulldogs will be licking their wounds after a disappointing defeat to Melbourne.

Wakefield Trinity vs Wigan Warriors – BBC Two 14:00
On Sunday the Challenge Cup semi-final line-up will be completed as Wakefield and Wigan meet in an intriguing clash. Trinity have won the last four whilst Wigan have lost once all season. Something will have to give at Belle Vue.
