England vs France: Kick-off time, Venue, TV channel and Team News

England are looking to back up their win over Samoa in the opening game as they meet France today hoping to cement their place in the quarter-finals.

France too won last week beating Greece but this will be a harder test.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

The game kicks off at 17:00 at the University of Bolton Stadium.

TV coverage starts at 16:30 on BBC Two.

Team News

England have made five changes to the 19-man squad named against Samoa. Mikolaj Oledzki, John Bateman, Joe Batchelor, Andy Ackers and Ryan Hall all come in for Tommy Makinson, Morgan Knowles, Matty Lees, Mike Coooper and Mike McMeeken. Marc Sneyd and Kai Pearce-Paul are set to play after missing out last week.

As for France, they have Leeds signing Justin Sangare available alongside Morgan Escare of Salford Red Devils. Catalans again dominate as some the Dragons’ departing stars are also set to feature such as Corentin Le Cam who could be rugby union bound.
