Cunningham ‘almost 100-per-cent recovered’

Toronto Wolfpack hooker James Cunningham has said he is almost 100-per-cent recovered after displaying symptoms of coronavirus.

Cunningham had been in isolation since March after displaying symptoms of the disease which has seen rugby league suspended, and the UK put into lockdown.

Following the end of his initial 14-day isolation, he was still experiencing symptoms like loss of smell and taste, as well as a cough.

Last week, he said he had gotten over the worse of it, and now  he feels as though he is almost completely recovered.

4 weeks since the initial start of symptoms and I’m almost 100% recovered. Senses are slowly returning and I can just about smell my own farts. Thanks for the support along the way. It’s been a horrible ride and it’s nowhere near from over! Please stay indoors, protect the NHS!
