Catalans Dragons vs St Helens: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

We’re set to be treated to a Grand Final rematch in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals today as last year’s league leaders host cup holders St Helens in arguably the biggest cup tie we could have asked for at the moment.

The Dragons will want revenge after their 12-10 defeat at Old Trafford last year and could very well have the tools to beat St Helens at home.

Meanwhile, Saints are a history making machine and are chasing down the treble in 2022 but this might just be their sternest test yet.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 14:30 UK time.

TV coverage starts on BBC One at 14:00.

Predicted Line-ups

Catalans Dragons
Catalans are boosted by the return of Mitchell Pearce, Jordan Dezaria and Michael McIlorum who will all return to the side almost definitely with Pearce set to give the Dragons guidance, McIlorum will provide balance and bite at nine and Dezaria will offer them size a tactic McNamara will want to use off the bench especially if Sam Kasiano is included after missing the defeat to Huddersfield last week. It might be too soon for Arthur Mourgue but if Steve McNamara wants a touch of x-factor, he might be the player he turns to.

29 Sam Tomkins

28 Sam Kasiano

St Helens
Like Catalans, the Saints are boosted by some key returns but not all of them will feature. Alex Walmsley is almost guaranteed to play after only just missing out last week but the game may come too soon for fellow forward Matty Lees or at least too early for him to start. Will Hopoate could return on the wing in place of Jon Benninson if he’s gotten over the injury hit start to his St Helens career.
